The refund policy is not there for you to demo games. If you refund a ton of games, they have every right to refuse future refunds. Steam can revoke your priviledge for refunds at their discretion when you abuse them. Steam does NOT HAVE TO OFFER YOU REFUNDS. Steam refunds are not a way for you to demo games Originally posted by Satoru: This to me is a bit like "we don't like you refunding so much" I have kept many VR titles that haven't done so even some early access ones because the Developer of the title hasn't lied or tried to mislead the customer in what's in the game. There are huge amounts of reviews that I 100% believe are fake/ getting paid to write these reviews to mislead customers based on my own game experiences. There are huge amounts of games that mis-lead or promise features that simply do not work or are not in the game yet when you buy them. I have refunded games based on Steam policies provided. IF you want me to continue using your platform don't be pulling this type of BS out on your customers. (unless they're being paid for it or are somehow attached to the project themselves) Too many times my experience of the game is so contradictory to the reviews it baffles me how people could post such glowing reviews of a game that is so obviously not that good. A vast majority of these accounts are posting reviews in some kind of social media campaign. How about you spend more focus on regulating the garbage that ends up on steam? How about you make more strict the number of VR titles that get released and seriously investigate their claims? How about you Moderate the reviews and actually investigate the accounts posting these reviews? Because it seems to me you have a review problem. Incomplete features and shouldn't be available on steam in the first place but somehow steam lets these games on and they're filled with suspiciously good reviews ALL the time. State they have something yet in-game they do not. I refund games that are misleading in their previews. I keep games that clearly have put the work in and are functioning as a product. I'm sorry that I am more particular about my games. Is steam implying if I buy a game I shouldn't refund even though they have a two hour limit rule? Even though I find the game lacking in features and unenjoyable? Should I keep a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product because I bought it and was mislead by the reviews? Is steam implying that I should keep the VR titles that I found differ to videos/majority opinions? OR that I find are literally money-grabs that have no place on the steam marketplace in the first place? Yet because I have refunded quite a few games too they are sending me this message? Furthermore I have also made purchases of VR titles and kept them!!!! *shock and horror* I have bought and kept games such as QuivR, elven assassin, Sairento VR, pavlol VR, Theblu. It's gotten to the point that I actually try alternative places to get reviews of steam-games because I have little to no faith in steam reviews at this point in time.

Nearly always VR titles are filled with glowing reviews. Regarding steam's message and my response to them. I do not refund simply because I find it a convenient way to play many games. This to me is a bit like "we don't like you refunding so much"Īs far as I am concerned I'm doing it within the guidelines of steam which is under a two hour limit and if the game is not as advertised or is misleading. It said "You've refunded a significant number of titles recently.

But the message received was different to normal.

So I just refunded a game under the two hour limit.
